"The best love is the kind that awakens the soul and makes us reach for more, that plants a fire in our hearts and brings peace to our minds. And that's what you've given me. That's what I'd hoped to give you forever."

Oh I Just Can't Wait!

I love the month of July! July=VACATION TIME!!!! Last weekend (friday-tuesday), Cody and I had the Harris reunion in good ol' Portage, Utah. Where's that you ask? Oh, it's a tiny little town where you can basically see the welcome to Idaho sign...but we LOVE it! Fleet, Cody's grandpa, grew up there and has an acre of property. It's so fun to see the Harris Family history that took place there.
Then...
We both worked yesterday and today, have tomorrow off, work saturday, and....we take off to....LAKE POWELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll post pics when we get back!!!

It's Time to catch up and get organized!

So last night we were planning out our vacation days, getting so excited for the summer, and what did we wake up to?.....SNOW! What?!? It's the end of may, my goodness gracious!

We are two of the luckiest peolpe I know and I'm trying hard not to complain...something i've always been bad at...I've noticed I complain a lot, when I truly should be happy and thankful! I'm trying to come up with goals for me and Cody to accomplish by the end of the year.

Goal #1: Always think of the other first. I want us to be even more and more devoted to each other than we already are! If that's even possible! We both work all week...rarely is there a day we get together. It makes our time that we do get together even that more special! So our #1 goal is to try to always make the other happy and to love them unconditionally!

Goal #2: Not eat late. That's the hardest thing in the world for us. especially when I usually leave at 7:10 and don't come home til 9:20. You technically have to eat late...unless...we accomplish our goal and pack dinners and start living a healthy life to give us energy for our busy days.

Goal #3: Hmmm...we have a certain $ amount we are saving up for before we get our dream vacation, and we're almost there! Cody doesn't really know it yet, but I have a secret under my belt! When he graduated next year with his associates, I'm taking him out of the country! I've always wanted to see Italy, and Greece, and Ireland...hopefully we'll make it there...if not...hawaii here we come!

Rather than watching tv when i get home, my goal has been to get something done. I've accomplished going through my boxes from my parents house and I am officailly almost all moved in! Haha 6 months past the initial moving in! What can you do:)

LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE. this is my favorite string of words. Live- do what you know is best for you. Do what makes you happy. Look at life with the glass half full and realize that no matter what you're going through, someone is always worse off than you are. Laugh-this is my absolute favorite thing to do! Cody and I laugh non-stop! He always tells me that he loves my laugh and he'll always hold me so he can feel my body move with my laughter. He always says, "This is my favorite thing in the world, I'm so lucky:) " He's so sweet! Love-it is my goal in life to love someone unconditionally and i am achieving that right now! I'm married to my best friend, I'm so lucky! My whole being loves him and is incomplete when he's not with me. I love to wake up with him and fall asleep with him. I love to serve him. I love his bright blue eyes and dimples when he smiles. I love how he's built. I love him unconditionally. He's mine forever and ever and it's hard to comprehend. I've never been happier than I am now. We had this conversation the other day on how I miss softball and he misses his boys...but regardless, we both agreed that we wouldn't change it for the world! I'm so lucky!

Well...I guess i'll try, try again...

SO...one of Cody's favorite meals is meatloaf...I was trying to be such a good wife and have it ready for him when he got home from his dreaded math class. I called my cute mama and got the recipe...I had my dry ingredient, the meat, the eggs, some mustard, some ketchup, etc...everything except onion. I was so excited, I put it all together, it smelled so delicious..set the table, and then we ate! Well...lol turns out something didn't go right! It was a GIANT MEATLOAF HAMBURGER! it had no flavor! just a big meatloaf shaped peice of ground beef! My sweet husband giggled a little then said "hunny, it's great!" as he's pulling out the bread and bbq sauce to make a big sandwich! lol then he cracked up and all he could tell me was that it'll make a good story for our kids! What the heck! So, I needed some sympathy and called my mom, she laughed and then told me her first meatloaf story...much worse than mine! Her meatloaf was green! My dad asked her what she put in it and turns out that she put 1 cup of parsley flakes in it haha...needless to say they didn't eat it:) Well, there you go my future children, your future mom's first meatloaf story! By the time you come along, I'll have it perfected!

ThInGs AbOut Me....

I'm a hopeless romantic. I love exercising...when i actually do it... never liked animals until my precious little sammy weener dog:) now i'm hooked. i hate spiders. i love boating. i only like camping if there's a lake. i'm married to my best friend. i'm daddy's little girl, and always will be! wouldn't know what to do without him. love scrapbooking. not a big reader. love shoes!!! i have a love/hate relationship with my hair. i work two jobs. i made All-American for NJCAA softball players in 2009! now my body hurts all the time...totally worth it! I have the best friends in the world, even though i don't see them often, i know they'll always be there. my family is amazing. I married into an amazing family. i love the gospel! my phone is indestructable-serious! i'm the type of baby hungry that wants to be able to give it back at the end of the day...lol then i'd want one right now. i was adopted. ok not really, but looks wise, we don't know where i came from. i'm ambitious, but haven't quite figured out what drives me yet. I want to be successful...in work, motherhood, as a wife...in life. I try to live in the moment, everything happens so quickly. I'm unsure about things. Cody is my strength. I have the cutest nieces and nephew on the planet! I eat too much, and keep going til i'm sick lol. my pinky toe is bigger than the one before it..not too cute. if i could, i'd live on the beach and lay in the sun all day! I look forward to getting older and hope i can die peacefully rather than in pain. my right eye squints when i smile, probably because of my exercise band flipping across my eyes and practically expoding them! oh the memories lol! I get along better with men than women. i think arguing and getting mad is a waste of time. I try to think positive. I believe life is only worth living if you have love.

LuCkIeSt GiRl In ThE wOrLd!

married to my best friend, the love of my life. the most amazing person i've ever met. He always brings a smile to my face, knows how to make me laugh, can fix or put together anything he gets his hands on. LOVES ME. loves the gospel. loves his family, loves my family. Trusts me. The one person i can share completely everything with. MY BEST FRIEND. I'm the luckiest girl in the world to be married to the one who carries my heart with his.

So Many Things I want to do....

I'm bored right now. Work all day, come home and can't think of anything to do...So...I've decided to get crafty. I have decided that I'm going to learn how to sew, crochet, and will complete my scrapbooks! I have so many pictures and pages to catch up on...softball and the wedding...a never ending pile of memories. I've also decided I'm going to start cutting coupons. If you really think about it, a couple bucks is a couple bucks, why not take a few minutes a day and cut out useful coupons?!? We'll see how it goes!
